Recordings of all Durham Region cemeteries, as well as various township census indexes, maps, etc., are available for sale.
- Our newsletter, Kindred Spirits is mailed to our members. It contains queries, which are free to members, and costs $2.00CDN for non-members. [NOTE: All newsletters, from 1982-2006, are available on DVD for $20.00.]
- Microfilming of local newspaper, including The Statesman – of Bowmanville, Ontario – has been completed to a large degree, and includes indexing to some degree. However, the Clarington Library has re-scanned and OCR’d all available paper copies of the Bowmanville Statesman, now stored in the Clarington Archives.
- The Durham Region Cemetery Index is undergoing further updates, which will include photos of grave markers – soon to appear in the Members Only Area. The current index may be referenced by way of online maps.
- Local yearbooks are being collected/purchased. In future, both a list of yearbooks, and an index of names, is planned.
- Queries are generally published in the newsletter – Kindred Spirits – which is mailed to members quarterly.
